We went to the Museum of Modern Art to check out the much blogged-about "Design and the Elastic Mind" exhibition. While crossing 5th Ave, we got caught in the Pope Parade. Pictures taken. When he waved at the crowd, they lost their shit.

As for the exhibition, disappointment. It could have been a cool discussion of how manufacturing is changing with the advent of new technology. It could have been a presentation about self-tagging and the degree to which we (we?) choose to reveal our private lives to the general public. It could have been a playground for innovative product ideas.

It could not, should not have been all three.
